About Me.
Allie is a visual media artist who mainly focuses on hands-on materials like ceramics and embroidery. Quiltings and other textiles. Inspired by prominent female artists like Judy Chicago, Suzanne Lacy and Cecilia Vicuna for creating and using personal lineage and heritage to help tell a story. Allie brings light to different women's issues and themes that affect females, specifically the modern problems around dating online.
Allie is, first and foremost, an educator; as a high school teacher and college professor, she hopes to continue a love of art in the next generation. In her free time, you can find her on stage acting in musicals, going to Disneyland, and hanging out with her pets, Willow, Serious, and Reggie.
